This was a great group this year! Rebecca Jones rode Joye, her Arab mare. Anna Pearl Decker and Nancy Crew joined us with their horses, Powder and Fancy. Amy Farley rode my Arab mare, Guimauve, and Jennifer Arnold rode my husband’s horse, Crusader. Of course, Tessa rode Sylvia, and I rode Patrick. Riding Patrick for this event was a particular honor, as at the time of the parade, his owner was in Iraq preparing to return home from his third tour.
We got lucky this year and had great weather, cool but fairly sunny. This annual event is a high point of our year. We’re already looking forward to the next one! Hope you can join us!
