In the interest of getting Sylvia ready for the leap from CTR to endurance competitions, Robin rode safety for Open Division of this ride. That means they road 37 miles in 7 hours—with an additional 2 hours during the competition for P&R checks and lunch. On Sunday, Robin and Linda took it easy, enjoying breakfast with the neighbors and then finding a scenic spot to wait for the competitors and take pics. Finally, Linda got to have her picture taken! Something for her to send to her hubby in Iraq.
Both ladies also had a chance to play with their horses on the wonderful Parelli playground located near the camping area. Sylvia was a little unsure about getting all the way on top of that big ole stump, but she finally managed it.
