AAHA 2007 Fall Community Show |
|
We had a great group for this show and a lot of fun. This was the first big show—and the first show, period—for several members of the group. But everyone helped everyone else, and despite a very late night getting ready and a pre-dawn departure time, we all had a lot of fun. Special thanks to Linda Snow and Robert Dunbar for helping with transportation. Stephen and Crusader took fourth in the Open halter; Robin and Gu took 5th in the Arab mares halter; Sandy and Jontue took first in the Adult Western Walk/Jog and third in the Western Championship; Tessa and Sylvia took first in the Junior Western Walk/Jog, second in the Junior Halter, and first in the Junior English Walk/Trot; Campbell and Shah took fifth in the Adult English Walk/Trot; and again, Robin was just happy Crusader managed not to get himself into trouble trying to socialize with all the pretty ponies in the English Walk/Trot. Marie came along with Cosmo just for fun and the chance to work him in a real arena. We were all pretty tired when it was over and glad to be back home, just like the ponies. But this was a well-organized show that we’ll be attending again in the future. |
